    About andicola

Tillandsia andicola is a small, tufted epiphytic bromeliad native to the Andean regions of South America. It forms dense rosettes of narrow, silvery-gray leaves covered in trichomes, typical of xeric-type Tillandsia. The plant produces small flowers that may be violet or purple in color. Care Tips

This high-altitude Andean species requires strong light, including direct sunlight, and good air circulation. Water sparingly and allow to dry thoroughly between waterings. It is tolerant of cool temperatures but sensitive to stagnant humidity and overwatering. Avoid temperatures above 30°C for extended periods. Mimicking its natural habitat of high-altitude, dry conditions with intense light is key to successful cultivation.
